This week we had to say goodbye to Gregory Gene Gauwitz 1953-2008.

He was a wonderful loving husband to Carla, father to Nicholas and Erin, father-in-law to Andrew and Jennifer, son to Caroline, brother to Jeff and Drew and most recently an awesome grandfather to Holden Gene Ryding. Along with all the above mentioned a wonderful son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle to many. We all love you and will miss you so much.

Mama Update

So everyone may be wondering what the heck is going on with Holdy G...well here goes. On Wednesday the 17th we switched doctors once again and found a pediatritian in Fargo who actually seemed to have her head on straight. She ordered up some basic allergy tests (which involved me holding the poor little boy down while they took blood..horrible) and took a swab of one of the spots on his arm. From here they told me to keep the appointment with the Pediatric Allergist in December, they would call me with results of the testing they did today and she would see holden back in 3 weeks.

Today is the 23rd and I got a call from the Doctor this morning with a few results. Here goes..the basic allergy test came back and Holden is allergic to Dairy/Soy, Wheat and Eggs. Wow what to do now..they moved his appointment with the Allergist up to Thursday and will do some more testing. I don't really know what the future holds for his food intake but I suppose that we will figure that out on Thursday.

I will be sure to keep everyone up to date with what is going on.

Today we went to check out daddy's work..it sure gets my approval!!

Mommy and I had a talk and I found out that we

Mama Update

So I'll just give everyone a quick update on Holdy. His Eczema is not getting any better like so many (9) doctors have told us that it would over time. So after trying many different perscriptions, creams, salves, lotions, body washes, formulas and itch medications we have decided that we seriously need to get this little boy better. We have finally had it with our main clinic in Detroit Lakes (now I wouldn't even bring my cats there to be treated) and we have switched clinics. Yesterday I took him to Fargo to the Children's Meritcare to see an actual Pediatrition and now we might finally be taking a step in the right direction. He has another infection and they actually took a swab of it to find out what type it was so they can give him the right antibiotic to treat the problem. They also did an allergy test on him to test for the basic food and household allergans....when those results come back from Mayo they will do further testing until they find out how to get him better. I was so happy with the new doc that he saw yesterday that I will be taking back to her for a long time. Thank you everyone for all your concern, support and prayers for Holden. I think he may soon be on the road to recovery.

Other than that Holden is such a trooper and seems to be very healthly in every other way. He is now standing up on everything, eating more fun foods and working really hard on his 3rd tooth and crawling. We are having a lot of fun trying to keep up with him and really enjoying his devoloping personality!!!!!

Another One

He will not let me get a picture of it or even let me get near it but yesterday another tooth popped out!! I can't believe that our little Holdy is changing and growing so fast. Everyone always told me that the time goes fast...now I truely understand that!!

On The Move

My Job

My job lately is to be cute and make everyone laugh!! I have so many great facial expressions!!
But people make me laugh a lot too!!

Good Game

On the 23rd of August everyone (accept me) went to the Vikes-Steelers Game at the Dome.

So Go Vikes say Uncle Nick!!! Or Go Steelers says Daddy!!
The Steelers pulled it off and won the game...Daddy was very HAPPY!!
But they all had fun!!!
We are looking foward to a good season!!

Squash

I love Squash...Im really good at getting it all over. I don't know

why Mommy insists on leaving the bowl sitting right in front of me.

Its not uncommon to have vegis all over the wall and floor when we

are done. And its really funny when I sneeze with peas in my mouth.

The Last Month

In the last month there has been a lot going on.

Physical Growth:
Im growing like a weed. At my 6 month checkup I was
26 1/4 inches and a whopping 21 lbs. Mommy doesn't
have to lift weights anymore...just me!! My hair is really
growing too!!! My skin isn't getting that much better but
Mommy and Daddy are sure working on it. The doctors
say that I will grow out of it . I think that is why we have
decided to go herbal..we'll see!!

Mental Growth:
Ive been told that Im the smartest baby in the world!!
I have been discovering the world lately. Nobody can
keep me still or keep me quiet. Im going for the 2011
Olympics..watch out Micheal Phelps!! Im almost crawling,
rolling everywhere, sitting trying to pull myself up on things
and Im jabbering all the time. We have been reading books
and talking about colors and shapes. I can't wait till I can
read all by myself!!

Other Things
I love Vegis. Not quite sure about fruit. My favorites are
carrots, peas, sweet potatos, mixed vegis, squash and i
tolerate bananas. I do love vegis way more than fruit
though. I hope that gramma g keeps that garden growing..
I will be raiding someday!

On a side note I will probably be eating steak by next week
cause on my seven month birthday my first tooth popped
through!! Yea Me!!

Other than that Mommy promises that she will be better
about posting on the blog in the future!!

Water Carnival

We all went to the Water Carnival Parade. We saw clowns, and pretty ladies wearing

crowns and a whole bunch of little noisy cars. I really liked all of the shriner cars!!

I don't look very impressed here but I think Im

having a good time..just trying to take it all in!!
Ok so Im having more fun here than Daddy!!
And Im done..too much excitement I guess!!
